Privacy Policy
How Upcountry collects, uses and looks after your personal information when you visit upcountry.co.uk or shop with us.
Upcountry is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect through upcountry.co.uk and in our stores, how we use it, and the choices you have. We may update this policy from time to time; any changes will be posted on this page.
Who we are

Payments
Card payments on this site are processed by our payment provider, Square. Your full card details are handled by Square and are not stored on our servers. You can read Square's own privacy policy at squareup.com.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with the service providers needed to run the shop: our payment provider, delivery couriers (so they can deliver your parcel), and the companies that host and maintain this website. Where we are required to by law, we may also share information with authorities.
Cookies and analytics
This site uses essential cookies that are needed for it to work, such as those that remember your basket, keep you logged in to your account, and keep the checkout secure. With your consent, we also use Google Analytics to help us understand how the site is used, and our shop software may note which link or advert brought you to us. Neither runs unless you accept it in the cookie banner, and you can change your choice at any time using the link at the end of this policy.
How long we keep it
We keep personal information only as long as we need it for the purposes above, including the periods required by law for business and tax records, and then delete or anonymise it.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you have rights over your personal information, including the right to request a copy of it, to have it corrected, and in certain circumstances to have it deleted or to object to its use. To exercise any of these rights, email [email protected]. If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
