About this product
A basil that earns a place on looks alone: deep purple, ruffled leaves with small white or pink-tinged summer flowers, and the full culinary credentials besides. Sow indoors February to July in small pots of pre-watered compost. Handsome in a border, happiest on a sunny sill, excellent on a tomato.
