Purple and yellow spikes that glow in a sunny border, from the West Country range introduced by Sarah Conibear in Devon. They’re a strong form of the traditional lupin, scented and disease resistant. Dress the soil with bonemeal or seaweed before and during the season for the best show.

Good to know: 90 x 60cm. Full sun, well-drained soil. Fully hardy. Remove first-year flower spikes so it can establish. Harmful if eaten and irritates skin and eyes, so wear gloves.
