Verbascum Dark Eyes 2 litre

Pale yellow flowers with darker markings, in short spikes through summer, and the bees seek them out. Bred to stay short and compact, it’s a mullein for small spaces: a patio pot or the front of a border. It hates wet feet, so pick a well-drained spot.

Good to know: 30 x 30cm. Full sun, well-drained soil. Hardy, but give it some shelter in a long, hard frost. Cut faded spikes back, and clear old stems in early spring.
