Salvia Salgoon Lake Onaga2

A sturdy salvia from the Salgoon series, with long flowering stems that keep coming through summer and leaves that are slightly aromatic. Bees love it. It’s compact enough for a large pot and tough enough for the border, and a spring feed of well-rotted manure sets it up nicely.

Good to know: up to 50 x 50cm. Full sun, moist but well-drained soil. Hardy, but protect it from long spells of frost. Deadhead to keep it flowering.
