2l Abelia tricolor charm

Crimson stems carry green and white variegated leaves with a pink tint, so this one earns its keep on foliage alone. Simple white flowers then arrive in July and keep going until the first frosts. It’s evergreen and compact, and the colour is at its best in a sunny spot.

Good to know: 1 x 1m. Full sun or part shade, moist, well-drained soil. Fully hardy. Prune lightly in spring.
