Phormium Jester3litre

Stripes of dusky pink, red and green make this one of the more cheerful phormiums, and it gives a bright focal point all year. A slightly smaller choice at 90cm, it suits a patio pot or a border where you want height and colour without much work.

Good to know: 90 x 90cm. Full sun, well-drained soil. Hardy, but give it some shelter in a long, hard frost. Remove flower spikes once they’ve finished.
